Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Research Articles

We invite scholars to submit original research articles at any time, which align with the Journal’s Aims and Scope. Every original research article is assessed by the Editors for suitability, and if suitable, is then subject to double blind peer review.

The required word length ranges between 4000-7000 words, but this can be negotiated with the Editors-in-Chief. This includes abstract, notes, and references.

Articles

Professional Insight

We invite professionals and practitioners to submit Insights at any time, which align with the Journal’s Aims and Scope. Insights can include case studies, critical essays, interviews, and other work as related to formal professional experience.

Every Insight is assessed by the Editors for suitability and relevance to the Journal, and if suitable, it is then subject to review. The Editors will need to confirm the practitioner status of the author before acceptance.

The required word length ranges between 2000-3000 words, but this can be negotiated with the Editors-in-Chief. This includes notes and references.

Book Review

We invite Book Reviews at any time, where the book in question aligns with the Journal’s aims and scopes, and which has been published within the last three years. Reviews should go beyond a descriptive account of the book’s contents to analyse its merit, outcomes, and implications.
