About the Journal

We engage in scholarly exploration of contemporary challenges, and aim to advance knowledge, inform or innovate practice, and improve responses to issues related to:

  • police /law enforcement science, management and practice
  • national security;
  • crime and control;
  • emergency management; and
  • justice studies.

Salus Journal is not committed to a particular theoretical paradigm, methodological approach, or epistemological stance. It welcomes submissions from diverse approaches that are underpinned by scholarly rigour.

Papers are subject to double-blind peer review.
